Graber Sheer Layered Shades designed with alternating Sheer and Semi-Opaque Fabric Shades. Save Upto 30%, when Add to Cart. Free Samples - Try Before You Buy

When you love a light-filled room but need occasional privacy, Graber’s mezzanine layered shade is the perfect solution. Designed with alternating sheer and semi-opaque fabrics, Graber mezzanine shades are made with parallel dual layers that allow for complete light control. Close and align the sheer bands for blurry view-through that reveals silhouettes and shapes, or upgrade to room-darkening fabrics that block light and eliminate view-through.

Graber mezzanine shades provide more than privacy — they also filter and block harsh solar energy that can damage skin and belongings with harsh ultraviolet rays. These Graber blinds, designed with simplicity in mind, offer elegant looks that can transform the look of your home. Featuring standard fabric-wrapped cassette valances and your choice of color, complementing your décor with the clean lines of this contemporary shade is now easier and more affordable.

Why you Need Sheer Layered Shades in your Room

Continuous Loop Lift

Leave the days of struggling with window treatment adjustment behind with Graber’s mezzanine blinds feature a cord-and-clutch system that makes raising and lowering your shade easy. You’ll love that the cord remains one length, no matter what position you keep your shade. When ordering, opt for left or right cord location for customized convenience. Your blinds should enhance your décor, so you can color-coordinate the continuous loop lift to match the color of your fabric. Optional bottom rail colors include black satin, classic gray, coffee, cream, sand and white satin.

Light Control and Privacy

When ordering your shade, consider how much light you want in the room when the blinds are drawn. Sheer fabrics let in the most light but offer the least amount of privacy. You’ll be able to see outside through the shades when they’re drawn — but others will be able to see inside, too. If you love light and don’t have privacy concerns, sheer fabrics are for you.

Light filtering fabrics diffuse light gently while providing moderate privacy. When viewed from outdoors through closed shades, you’ll see blurry shapes but no details. Darker fabrics provide enhanced light control while light colors offer greater illumination. The fabrics are opaque or translucent. Colors may appear to shift, depending on the light source or intensity.

Room darkening shades allow some light to filter through but provide complete privacy when fully closed. When viewed from outdoors, vague silhouettes are visible. Opaque fabric may appear to vary in color as light conditions change, especially with darker colors.

Regardless of the type of fabric you choose, it is wise to order your shades at the same time to minimize dye lot variation, which ensures consistency of color. If you want side-by-side layered shades, request stripe alignment. can align stripes to within ¼ inch.

Shades must be ordered at the same time with the same fabric style and height.

Installing Graber Mezzanine Layered Shades

If optimal light and glare control is desired, mount the Graber layered shade on the outside of the window. If you mount the layered shade on the inside, you may wish to combine it with a secondary soft window treatment such as a drapery or curtain. Note also that the fabric width is narrower than the cassette valance and finished shade width of the tube and its components.

Light Gap

The Fabric Width is narrower than the Finished Shade Width of the tube and its components or Cassette Valance.
