Are drapery panels out of style?
Drapery panels are definitely not out of style, though they are less common nowadays! Unlike rigid blinds or shutters, drapes bring an alluring and soft look to your interiors. Choose from a wide range of colors, textures, and patterns that can bring a unique accent and luxurious look to your home. Drapery panels are easy to install and are also cordless and child safe.
What is the difference between panels and drapes?
Panels would just describe a single section of fabric of drapery. Usually for a single window you will have two panels, one on the left and one on the right, and they would be designed to meet at the center of the window to cover it. For smaller windows you might just have one panel that is designed to cover the entire window.
What size do drapery panels come in?
Our drapery panels come in sizes of 25" increments, for example 50", 75", 100", etc. Since drapery panels are designed to have the fabric fold and gather up, they don't have to be perfectly fitted to your window. You should order your drapery panels at the size you plan to cover, and they will be made with fullness in mind. It is better for the panels to be larger than needed than smaller. What is the difference between sheer and blackout drapery panels?
Sheer drapery panels are a great choice when you want some privacy during the day, while keeping the room light and airy. The sheer material will gently diffuse the light at let in a soft glow. Alternatively, blackout drapery panels will block the light completely through the material, giving your room total darkness. This is a great choice for bedrooms, nurseries, home theaters, and home offices.
