Ideal R-Value of Thermal Blinds

So what is the ideal value of thermal blinds? For normal blinds average R-value is around 2.5 which is quite low. For thermal blinds he R-value should be up near 5.0 mark. Thermal roller blinds, Double Cellular shades boast of an R-value of 5 which is comprehensive enough to insulate your homes well against heat loss. Anything below 4.5 is not deemed ideal for homes facing a excessively cold winters.
